I am available for local one to one classes at a time and venue to suit you.

I can tailor classes to focus on Mindfulness, Meditation or to focus on needs as  ‘tech neck’, arthritis, or recovery from injury.  Please get in touch to find out more ..

I offer tutoring to students on Yoga Teacher Training, helping with lesson plans, sequencing and basic yoga principles.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR YOGA CLASS

MIXED HATHA / VINYASA FLOW

I teach an all inclusive practice with grounding meditation, breathwork, a lengthy floor based warm up moving onto an energising Vinyasa flow, comprising of forward bends, backbends, balances, twists, inversions and strengthening standing postures closing with a sizeable Savasana (or final relaxation).

You are absolutely encouraged to take your practice at your own pace…and rest whenever you need to, depending on your energy levels.  This class will suit all levels as variations and modifications will be offered.

NOTES ON YOGA

Have you always wanted to try Yoga but felt too ‘inflexible’? Maybe you’ve heard about the health benefits such as strength, flexibility, increased bone density or you’re intrigued by the claims to ‘calm the mind’ and build resilience to stress?  Maybe you’ve tried a few classes or you’re recovering from an injury and prefer to practice at a slower pace to make sure your alignment is correct?

You don’t have to be flexible to try Yoga – I couldn’t even sit in crossed legs when I began 20 years ago! Yoga is about gently opening up the body with the breath, listening to the body’s cues and being aware of sensations that arise.
